We ease into things with a story, piece of music or material that provides the motivation to get started. The children gather initial experiences with different materials and techniques and discover the variety of colors, shapes and formal possibilities through creative interaction.

Every first Sunday of the month, anyone who wants to create can come to the museum. Different themes invite you to experiment with different materials. This format is appealing to children and teenagers as well as the adults accompanying them. High-quality materials and exciting techniques help you to enjoy realizing your own ideas in a fun way. Experimenting, failing and trying again are expressly encouraged in this process-oriented workshop. 

For children ages 6 and over
Every first Sunday of the month, 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The birthday boy or girl and their friends are the guests of honor at museum gugging. At villa gugging, there is a table decorated for the party, plenty of space for games and a craft and painting workshop to get creative like an artist. 
After a round of introductions, we go to the museum together and take a look at the current exhibition. We build puzzles, solve riddles and go on an art hunt. Afterwards, we enjoy cake and drinks in the villa before we start painting and doing crafts like the great artists. 
There is always a painting station where the children can paint on their own with high-quality gouache paints. There is also a craft station where the children can create in three dimensions (wire figures, crepe-paper flowers or animals made from recycling materials).

• Time: 2 1/2 hours, bookable from Tuesday to Sunday between 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
• Price: € 210 includes 10+1 children, € 7.00 for each additional child (max.15 children)
• Price includes: supervision by an art educator, admission to the exhibition, craft and painting materials, tableware and birthday decorations
• Recommended for children ages 5-10
• You can bring your own birthday cake, drinks and snacks
• A maximum of two people accompanying the birthday child can be present
• All other parents can visit the museum at the reduced admission price of € 4.50
• 4:30 p.m. is the closing time of the museum and, unfortunately, it cannot be extended
