Conceived as an exhibition venue for the Gugging artists and the Art Brut movement, museum gugging shows the works of the Gugging artists at the place where they were created. With this focus, museum gugging occupies a unique position in the Austrian museum landscape and is one of the most important exhibition venues for Art Brut internationally. The historically grown affiliation to the art brut center gugging and the immediate proximity to the Gugging artists are part of the distinctiveness of this house.
